These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using Yomishirube (the "App"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to the Terms.
Article 1 (The Service)
The App provides features such as recording and managing your reading, searching for book information, and AI-assisted recaps and summaries based on the content you enter. The App may be changed, extended, or discontinued without prior notice for improvement or other reasons.
Article 2 (Accounts)
Some features may require account registration through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for managing your own account.
Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)
When using the App, you must not:
- violate laws or public order and morals;
- interfere with the operation of the App, or attempt unauthorized access;
- infringe the rights of others (including intellectual property and privacy);
- decompile or reverse engineer the App;
- engage in any other conduct the operator deems inappropriate.
Article 4 (Intellectual Property)
Intellectual property rights in the App and its accompanying content belong to the operator or their rightful owners. Rights to the content you enter remain yours, but you grant us use of it to the extent necessary to provide the App's features.
Article 5 (Subscriptions and Payments)
- Some features become available by purchasing a paid subscription (the Pro plan).
- Subscriptions are offered through the App Store, and payment is processed by Apple.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- A free trial (Pro trial) may be offered. The Pro trial lets you try Pro features free for 7 days; after it ends, the selected plan renews automatically at its regular price. If you cancel before the trial starts renewing, you will not be charged.
- AI features also have a separate free allowance (14 days or 20 uses from first use). No automatic charge occurs when this allowance ends.
Article 6 (AI Features)
AI-generated output is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Please treat AI output as reference information and review or edit it yourself as needed.
Article 7 (Disclaimer)
- The App is provided "as is", without warranties including fitness for a particular purpose.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from your use of the App, except in cases of the operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
- Please back up your data as needed in case of loss or corruption.
Article 8 (Changes to the Terms)
The operator may amend the Terms without notifying users when deemed necessary. The amended Terms take effect when posted on this page.
Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
The Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the operator's location as the court of first instance.
